Direct or Unattended Cremations
Some people prefer a very simple form of funeral with no service. Direct or unattended cremations offer a dignified and cost-effective option. The cremation takes place at a local crematorium, and the cremated remains can either be returned to you or scattered in the garden of remembrance.
Unlike some online cremation providers, we offer complete peace of mind. Your loved one will rest at our funeral home in Whitefield, and you will be informed of when and where the cremation will take place.
The cost of a direct cremation is £1,550.00, which includes:
Advice and guidance on registering a death
Completion of all necessary cremation paperwork
A simple coffin suitable for cremation
Collection of the deceased within a 20-mile radius of the funeral home during office hours (9am–5pm)
Care and dressing of the deceased in a simple cotton shroud
Please note: Collection of the deceased outside of office hours incurs an additional charge of £185.00.
